The Lesson 6 – Canadian Heroes

Introduction:

Canadians achieved some truly heroic feats during the Second World War. In this material, we will look at 6 of those heroes. Each hero is connected in some way to a specific town or city in the Netherlands. Students will read or watch the stories followed by reflection and discussion. Hopefully students will gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the significant and life-saving contribution Canadians made during the Second World War.
