My Dad Albert Grimaud of Montreal served with the Canadians in Holland. He and my Mum Agnes were warmly welcomed back to Holland on the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland, an experience that touched them both very deeply. I am planting these tulips with much love and gratitude in honour of my parents....

My father, Bruce Mills, served with the Lincoln & Wlland Regiment. He fought in the Battle of the Schellte and was injured at Burgen op Zoom. He always loved the bight colours of,the tulips and marigolds. This beautiful tulip is planted in his memory. He passed in 2009 just shy of his 91st birthday. Amazingly,...

He enlisted in January, 1941 and went overseas in November of that same year. He was 19 years old. He was an airframe mechanic, serving with the R.C.A.F. I never knew him, but I’ve heard his story many times. Ed was a Canadian Soldier who won many medals for his actions. He didn’t speak much about his experiences to his family but we treasure a picture of him in his tank in a small town surrounded by the townspeople they had just liberated....
