My father, Bruce Mills, served with the Lincoln & Wlland Regiment. He fought in the Battle of the Schellte and was injured at Burgen op Zoom. He always loved the bight colours of,the tulips and marigolds. This beautiful tulip is planted in his memory. He passed in 2009 just shy of his 91st birthday. Amazingly, his neighbours of his last 36 years were from Holland and they shared many laughs over the Garden fence.
