This foto came from Uncle Jan’s things after he passed and it was brought back to Canada. Now according to Dad (Cornelius) who almost dropped when he saw this picture and had not seen it since the day it was taken and remembered it like it was yesterday. Apparently this little guy’s name is Bernard (Bernhard) Anders it was taken by? The year was 1948 so we had heard a German kid who lived with Oma and Opa van der Ree for 1 summer. Germany was completely destroyed after the war and the Red Cross was sending kids to foster homes and I hear that Oma and Opa volunteered.
