I am planting for Ambrose Moynagh.

Ambrose (Amby) Moynagh was my stepmother’s youngest brother. He was killed during WW II when his RCAF plane crashed into a mountain near Cowichan Lake, BC – Bolduc Mountain. Because of the remoteness of the crash site the bodies were never recovered; April 25 was the 75 Anniversary of the crash. This spring the local Legion and others from the area used ATVs to go in and erect a cairn to honour them. These tulips are to honour Amby and others who perished and served so selflessly.
