I never knew him, but I’ve heard his story many times. Ed was a Canadian Soldier who won many medals for his actions. He didn’t speak much about his experiences to his family but we treasure a picture of him in his tank in a small town surrounded by the townspeople they had just liberated. I cannot imagine what our world would be like without the sacrifices of these brave soldiers all those years ago.
