Tulip Legacy Walking Tour

Participants will learn about the incredible heritage of this Festival while visiting highlights such as the Queen Juliana Gift Bed, or the historic statue, The Man with Two Hats.  Enjoy a day in the garden, right in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, set against the stunning backdrop of Dows Lake.

Join us for a tour that will brign the incredible heritage of this Festival to life while visiting highlights such as the Queen Juliana Gift Bed, or the historic statue, The Man with Two Hats.  Enjoy a day in the garden, right in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, set against the stunning backdrop of Dows Lake. Learn of the history of the tulip as well as the story of how it came to be in Ottawa. Celebrate Canada’s role in the liberation of the Netherlands in the Second World War.

Tours operate every 15 minutes from 10am – 3pm on weekdays, and 10am – 4pm on weekends and holidays. Each tour can accommodate up to 15 people per group. Larger groups will need to split into multiple tours. Please check in at the Walking Tour Tent, located at the Man with Two Hats statue, 15 minutes prior your tour start time.
