Virtual Tulip Legacy Garden Tour

Join us for a virtual tour that will bring the incredible heritage of this Festival to life while visiting highlights such as the Queen Juliana Gift Bed, or the historic statue, The Man with Two Hats.  Enjoy a day in the garden, right in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, set against the stunning backdrop of Dows Lake. Learn of the history of the tulip as well as the story of how it came to be in Ottawa. Celebrate Canada’s role in the liberation of the Netherlands in the Second World War.

Our Virtual Tulip Legacy Garden Tour will provide you with in-depth historical and horticultural knowledge of the different tulip varieties within the festival grounds. Hosted by the lead Landscape Designer at the NCC, viewers will learn from the very best about the hundreds of breeds of tulips grown in Ottawa.
