From the fascinating neighbourhoods of Centertown, Chinatown, Greektown and Little Italy, to tree-lined boulevards and unexpected wonders like Hog’s Back Falls, Central Experimental Farm and the Arboretum, join us in seeing all the wonders (and tulips!) the Canadian capital has to offer.

Your knowledgeable, passionate and professional guide will lead you on a leisurely walk around Ottawa’s most famous monuments and locations that explain the city’s colourful history, its larger than life political characters and graceful architecture. During the tour we will walk around Parliament Hill, the National War Memorial, Sparks Street, Major’s Hill Park, The Chateau Laurier, The UNESCO Rideau Canal, The Prime Minister’s Offices, The ByWard Market and of course all the tulips in Ottawa ’s downtown core. This tour is the perfect opportunity to get to know Ottawa’s past, present, and future with an entertaining and educational experience.

Art & Culture in Public Spaces – 2-2.5 hours
Join us for a fascinating tour of the major works of public art in downtown Ottawa. Learn about the art and the artists who made them, the role of public art in the 21st Century, the history of the work, and the materials used. Led by Julie Hodgson, former curator at the National Gallery of Canada, be caught up in her passion for public art and her stories of the works presented including Dancing Bear by Inuit artist Pauta Saila, The Giant Spider (Maman), The National War Memorial, Samuel de Champlain & Anishnaabe Scout by Hamilton MacCarthy, Jetée by Steven Beites and Hundred Foot Line by Roxy Paine to name just a few.
