My father CPO1 William C. Blathwayt (RCN) and my mother AW1 N. C. Rogers (WAAF)

Both of my parents joined up when they were teenagers. My father lived in London, Ontario and my mother had moved to London, England (from Belfast, Northern Ireland) Both heard the call to serve for their countries. My father served in the Atlantic and England, my mother in England and then Singapore after the war. They met post war Belfast in 1948, while my dad was waiting for the outfitting of HMCS Magnificent
