I am planting for my father, Major Don Cornett

Dad joined the Canadian Army in the spring of 1940. In January 1941, he was shipped to the U.K. After D-Day, he fought in France, Belgium and the Netherlands through the winter of 1944-45 with the Royal Canadian Artillery. Five years after leaving, he came home (January 1946) and returned to university to finish his degree.
