I am planting for Lt. Ernest Garber

Ernest Garber was my godfather. He came home on leave in 1942 the photograph is enclosed. He subsequently landed on Juno Beach at St. Aubin-Sur-Mer. He was fatally wounded in the fierce battle to take Carpiquet from the Hitlerjugund, July 8th. Age 29. My wife and I visited his grave at Beny-Sur-Mer June 6th 2019 with our tour Canadian company Liberationtours.ca We traveled back on KLM airlines. Wonderful service.
