I am planting for Captain Richard Fowlke Dickie

Captain Dickie was my maternal uncle, an older brother to my mother. I never had the opportunity to know him. By supporting the Liberation 75 campaign, I am honouring his memory and service. He died on January 29, 1945 at the age of twenty-one. My uncle was killed in action while leading his company against enemy installations on the Maas river in Holland. As a member of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment, my uncle, along with so many others, played an integral role in helping to liberate the Netherlands.
