For my two Grandfathers, Cyril George Ludgate with the Royal Regiment of Canada, never got to know the man, never made it home, buried in France and David Russell Clements with the Merchant Marine who served on a Corvette in the north Atlantic, he did make it home and remember him fondly, oftened wondered how things would of been different today if they were still around
