My father served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the 2nd World War. He was assigned to the HMCS Strathadam for the most part of his service. He survived the war and rarely spoke of it. He was a long time member of the legion and is always remembered and missed.

Both my Grandparents were involved in the Second World War. Both were int he Navy. My grandmother worked here in Canada, while my grandfather was stationed overseas. Both made it home and they had 5 children. Both are no longer with us and are missed. I am planting my Liberation75 tulips to honour them.
