As you walk through Commissioners Park at Dows Lake, you aren’t just looking at over a million blooms—you are walking through a living tribute to a historic bond of international friendship.

The 2026 season is nearly here, and our team is currently mapping out over 300,000 spectacular blooms across Ottawa’s most iconic landscapes. While the official 2026 Canadian Tulip Festival Park Map is being finalized, we want to ensure you have all the information needed to plan your visit to Commissioners Park at Dows Lake.

Our updated map will soon be available to help you navigate our 100 unique tulip varieties and legendary historical displays.

What to Look for on the 2026 Map

When the map goes live, it will highlight key festival activations and accessibility features to help you explore every corner of the park:

  • The Tulip Legacy Tour: A self-guided tour through the gardens where you can learn about the history of Commissioners Park and symbolism of the “Gift of Tulips”.
  • Tulip Trail: *NEW* 40 minutes experience, where guests journey 12,000 kilometers and 4000 years, following the incredible story of the Tulip.
  • Travel and Parking: Directions to the festival grounds, from our University Parking Lot to the nearest OTrain Station.
  • Commemorative Sites: Plaques, gardens and a monument honoring the veterans of World War II and the Liberation of the Netherlands.
  • Our generous partners and sponsors: Take some time to recognize and thank those who helped make the festival possible.
