Meet your tour guide, a young Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Reservist from 1946, in front of the HMCS Carleton. The Second World War ended the year before, and the Tulips are blooming for the first time in Ottawa, from the grateful Netherlands.
Hear the haunting stories of her friends from the local neighbourhood that gave the ultimate sacrifice and never made the trip home from their fight for freedom.
Tours available daily from 8:00pm – 9:30pm, running every half hour for $20 per person, children 12 and under are free. These tours are presented in English.
