To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the conflict, Last Voices of the Second World War presents powerful new interviews from some of the last surviving veterans of the war, as well as family members.

Untold stories
Using the veterans’ own words, alongside photos and other personal mementoes, this poignant exhibition explores their journey to rebuild their lives and make meaning of their experience. It also sheds new light on the challenges, rewards and legacy of military service.

Discover the moving stories of Canada’s veterans and their families, and learn how military service shaped the lives of those who served — and the generations that followed — in profound and unexpected ways.

An exhibition developed by the Canadian War Museum and supported by The Royal Canadian Legion.
