3rd Annual Tulip Festival Swing Dance

Presented by Ottawa Swing Dance Society, Standing Room Only

Produced in collaboration with Ottawa Swing Dance Society and Standing Room Only, the 3rd Annual Canadian Tulip Festival Swing Dance kicks off at 7:30 PM with a one-hour beginner swing dance lesson with live music provided by the SRO Snippets Sextet. Vintage big band, Standing Room Only with vocalist Pauline Proulx, take the stage for the evening at 8:30pm. Tickets are $20 (inclusive) available online or $25 at the door and include same-day admission to Festival gated areas (Aberdeen Pavilion, South Court and East Court) 10 am – 5pm plus free OC Transpo to and from Lansdowne Park upon presentation of your ticket. This is an all-ages event with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food available for sale. Swing dancers are encouraged to wear WWII period dress, as a tribute to the Festival’s military heritage. For more information about the Standing Room Only big band, visit srobigband.ca.
